１．speech

when it comes to the speech which influences me most, i would not hesitate to say it's the one given by our headmaster in high school.  it was on the first day of school. you know, my high school is not really a great one and a lot of students were not satisfied with the situation, neither was i. i was angery at myself and really puzzled about my future---how could i get into a decent university from this shabby school? then her speech totally changed my attitude towards my life. i still remember she was wearing a red dress, standing in front of all the students. she said, i know you are not happy with everything right now--- the school, the score you got which got you here... but i want you to know that, every school has good and bad students, even the top schools in the world.but you can be still be excellent in a not so good school as long as you work harder. after she finished her speech, the students all stood up and gave her a big hand. i was totally welling up. that was defintely what i needed at that moment, a push from the teacher, to tell me my life still could be great if i want to make it happen. that was also a lessen for life. everytime i am almost about to complain or give up on something, i will think about her speech, everything is possible if you let it be possible.

3.historic attraction

The most famous historical place in china, I think, is the Palace Museum, which is also called the Forbidden City. It is one of the largest museums in china. Walking through the Tian’anmen Gate and heading up northward, you will arrive at its front gate, which doesn’t look like a gate at all, but a fortified citadel with watchtowers on both sides. Situated in the heart of Beijing and once being the royal palace of the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, it was first built in 1406 and completed around 1420, spanning almost 600 years of history. Today it houses hundreds of thousands of items. Each of them protentially worth million. And its buildings also represent the highest level of architectural design. Anyway, its architecture, historical collection and its imperial history attract millions of visitors each year. It is truly a symbol of Beijing.

Honestly I haven’t thought about this much. The one and only great change I can think of now is leaving school. Look, after going to school for more than 16 years, all of my life has been connected to school, my daily schedule, my mindset, my social life, etc. the world outside school seems so familiar and yet so strange. My feelings are mixed with ambition, hope, expectation, as well as uneasiness, insecurity and worries. It is such a difficult time. I am like a person lost in the no-man’s land, not knowing where to turn. Anyway, most people have to face this change once they leave school. It is a huge challenge. But just as one great mind has once said,” life is always full of changes and uncertainties; we just do all that we can and hope for the best.”

(Change is just a path into another phase of life; one needs not only to get used to it, but also make use of it)

Among all types of films, I like war films best. 

The first obvious feature of war films is that it involves at least one hero in the story, who is often brave, smart and unselfish. In addition, the battle scenes which involve large number of soldiers, planes and weapons vividly present a picture of what wars were actually like. Recently, I watched a war film named Assembly directed by the famous Chinese director Feng Xiaogang. It was a drama about a soldier of a People's Liberation Army unit during the civil war in the 1940s. The soldier, once a company commander, devotes his life to redeeming the honor of fellow soldiers who are declared missing in action. The film has been called the Chinese version of “Saving Private Ryan”, and indeed, the film looks like seriously brutal stuff. I like war films first because I can learn more about history through watching this kind of film. And I am especially interested in historic wars and battles, like the battle of Somme and so on. War films present to us a vivid picture of how brutal a war can be. Besides, I can appreciate the bravery and unselfishness of those heros in war films, like the captain in the Hollywood hit Saving Private Ryan.

the library i'd like to talk about is the National Library of China. it is the largest library in china, even in Asia, with a collection of over 23 million volumes. the library serves the government, key research institutions, academies, education institutions, businesses and the general public. so the library is popular with people from a wide range of fields. there are grey-haired scholars, businessmen, workers as well as students. the reason that i like to go to this library is that it contains the most comprehensive collection of books. with a wider application of the computer and network technologies, the library has become a national knowledge base and an information center. it opens to the public 365 days a year and its online services are available 24 hours a day. it is like a sacred place where i feel enlightened and nourished. whenever i feel depressed, i would like to lose myself in the vast sea of books there.

15. Advertisement 

Well, today I'm going to talk about an advertisement of perfume. The perfume is the only one perfume which with time flying but also gives out new fascination. I think everyone have heard about it. What is it? It’ s CHANEL N°5.It mixed luxurious and elegance, with courageous and spirit of breaking tradition.

At the passageway of train, a young lady was immersed in thinking with the voice of train, and exhaling a sexy and attractive perfume. A young man passed by, then he couldn't stop himself loving her sweet smell. When the train arrived at the destination, she wanted to find him with deep and ungovernable longings. In the noisy city with different kinds of smell, they missed each other. Finally, he found her when he just wants to give up. At the end of this advertisement, a shining double "C" appeared.

 Just as Marilyn Monroe once said,” I go to sleep with nothing, but a few drops of CHANEL N°5."Even though fate is like a game, the fascination of N°5 is always making no stand.
